April Artist of the Month
Julie Wells

Julie Wells creates art with color pencils primarily, and also uses paint. Ms. Wells drawing inspiration from nature and the living beings within it, as well as the therapeutic potential of creativity. Through her art, she seeks to externalize the internal and forge connections with viewers through their individual experiences. The strategic use of color and contrast captivates the viewer, inviting them to delve deeper into the artwork. Julie aims to momentarily halt the viewer in their tracks, making them the focal point of another's contemplation. She employs complementary colors that play off each other, producing radiant hues.
Julie will have her art on display at the Clare Union Railroad Depot for the entire month of April. The Clare Union Railroad Depot is open to the public Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
